Leadstr + Salesforce
Leadstr's Salesforce integration provides full bi-directional sync against standard and custom objects. Map custom Lead, Contact, and Opportunity fields, trigger Salesforce Flow on Leadstr events, and run AI qualification on every inbound lead before it touches your reps.
What syncs
How to connect Salesforce
- 1
Install the Leadstr managed package
Install from AppExchange (or via the connection UI). The package adds custom fields, a Visualforce panel for the Leadstr brief, and Apex triggers for sync events.
- 2
Connect via OAuth
Authenticate with a Salesforce user that has API access. We recommend a dedicated integration user for clean audit trails.
- 3
Map custom objects and fields
Configure which Salesforce custom Lead/Contact/Opportunity fields receive Leadstr data. Custom object mappings supported.
- 4
Configure assignment rules
Set Salesforce assignment rules to pick up Leadstr-qualified leads. Round-robin, territory, or queue-based.
- 5
Set up Salesforce Flows
Optional: trigger Salesforce Flow on Leadstr events — Hot lead routed, buying signal detected, nurture stage change.
What you can build
- Auto-create Opportunities when leads reach Hot
- Trigger Salesforce Flow on buying-signal detection
- Custom object support — works with any data model
- Territory and queue-based routing for enterprise teams
- Visualforce panel embeds the Leadstr brief on the Lead record
- Apex bulk-API support for high-volume orgs
Salesforce integration FAQ
Which Salesforce editions are supported?
Sales Cloud Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited editions. Essentials supports core sync but not Flow triggers or custom object mapping.
Does Leadstr support Salesforce custom objects?
Yes. Map Leadstr data to any custom object. Common patterns include syncing to a custom 'Inbound Inquiry' object before promoting to Lead, or to a Channel object for multi-source attribution.
How does Leadstr handle Lead Status?
Leadstr can either write to a custom score field, update Lead Status directly, or both. Mapping is configurable so it doesn't conflict with existing automations.
Is there a Visualforce/Lightning panel?
Yes. The Leadstr Lightning component renders the qualification brief, conversation history, and buying signals directly on the Lead and Contact pages.
Does this require a Salesforce admin to install?
Yes. Initial setup needs a Salesforce admin to install the package, configure permissions, and map fields. Day-to-day use does not require admin involvement.
